Former WWE NXT champion being discussed for call-up

Even though Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, Lash Legend and Jordynne Grace were all called up to the WWE main roster recently and current NXT Champion Oba Femi expected soon, they may not be the only NXT talents on the way to Raw and SmackDown.

Fightful Select reported Monday that over the last few weeks, former NXT Women’s United States Champion Blake Monroe has been under consideration for her own call-up, potentially to the Raw roster.

“There was also discussion that immediate plans with Blake Monroe could be changing, including as soon as this week,” the outlet reported.

That would be a reference to Tuesday as Monroe is set to challenge Thea Hail for the Women’s North American title on Tuesday’s New Year’s Evil edition of NXT. Monroe lost the title to Hail last month due to a botched spot, resulting in creative needing to be changed ahead of their holiday break.

The 27-year-old Monroe signed with WWE in June 2025 after two years in AEW where she held the Women’s World title.
