Matt Hardy calls for ‘generational dream match’ at WWE WrestleMania

Matt Hardy has a “generational dream match” in mind for WWE WrestleMania.

After The Usos won the World Tag Team titles on Raw last night, Hardy posted a tweet congratulating Jimmy & Jey on their victory. He also suggested a triple threat match for WrestleMania that would see The Usos defend their newly won belts against The Hardy Boyz and New Day.

“Congrats, @WWEUsos! Well deserved win as you guys absolutely killed it,” Hardy wrote. “Maybe at
@WrestleMania, it’s time for The Usos vs The New Day vs The Hardy Boyz in a generational dream match.”

Kofi Kingston of The New Day appeared to like Hardy’s idea, responding to his tweet with an eyes emoji.

Matt & Jeff Hardy also currently hold gold as the TNA Tag Team Champions. They’ve re-signed with TNA but could still be involved with WWE through the partnership the two promotions have together. The Hardys have already worked some NXT matches, including having a brief reign with the NXT Tag Team titles.

Last night’s Raw main event saw The Usos defeat AJ Styles & Dragon Lee to become the new World Tag Team Champions. This is the ninth Tag Team title reign for The Usos and the first time they have been champions together since 2023.
