Natalya challenging for gold at AAA Triplemania

After making her Lucha Libre AAA debut last month, Natalya is heading back to Mexico to compete at Triplemania.

It was confirmed today that gold will be on the line in a three-way match at the Saturday, August 16 Triplemania event. The bout will see Lady Flammer defend her AAA Reina de Reinas Championship against both Natalya and Faby Apache.

Natalya signed a new multi-year contract with WWE last year and has been competing everywhere the company will allow since then, including appearances for Bloodsport, the NWA, AAA, and Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling. Not content with just taking a paycheck, Natalya has said she loves her job and wants to continue proving herself.

Her AAA debut was at a July TV taping where Natalya & Lola Vice defeated Dalys & Chik Tormenta and Faby Apache & Lady Shani.

Flammer has been Reina de Reinas Champion for two years now after winning the belt from Taya Valkyrie in August 2023.

With WWE in the process of acquiring Lucha Libre AAA, Triplemania will air live on WWE’s YouTube channel in both English and Spanish. The show is being held in Mexico City at Arena CDMX.
