New promotion for WWE Raw writer revealed

WWE Raw

The promotions and changes within the WWE creative and writing teams last week included one that just was revealed Thursday.

On LinkedIn, Kirsten Koedding wrote last week that she was promoted to a writer/producer position on WWE Raw after nearly three years as a writer’s assistant:

“I am humbled and proud to announce that after working for WWE for 2.5 years, I have been promoted to Writer/Producer for Monday Night RAW! I am so thankful for the support from my team, my family, and my friends, and I can’t wait to continue to tell stories and entertain families around the world!”

The 2020 Quinnipiac University graduate joined WWE in August 2023 after various short term jobs with Kameo and Wayfarer Studios.

The promotion assumed to be in concert with the promotion of Alexandra Williams to a vice president role in addition to the lead writer of WWE Raw. That news came on the same day news broke that former wrestler and creative team member Brian “Road Dogg” James had resigned.
