New WWE Evolve champion crowned
Harlem Lewis is the brand new WWE Evolve Champion.
On the July 15 episode of WWE Evolve, Lewis defeated Aaron Rourke to crown himself the new WWE Evolve Champion.
The match’s finish saw Lewis counter the Molly-Go-Round from Rourke with a powerbomb and finish off the former champion with the Jackhammer.
The championship victory marks Lewis’ first reign as the Evolve Champion, as well as his first championship win in WWE. Former champion Rourke’s title reign lasted 119 days. He had defeated Jackson Drake on the February 20, 2026 episode of WWE Evolve to win the title. Following a successful reign and six title defenses, Rourke has now passed the torch to Lewis.
Lewis, 26, actively wrestles on Evolve as well as NXT and WWE Main Event. The title change actually took place during the June 19 episode of WWE Evolve, which then aired on July 15, 2026. Following this, he has also wrestled on WWE LFG and WWE NXT.
