No issues between Natalya, Liv Morgan following WWE live event finish

Any fallout from a strange incident at a Sunday WWE live event in Sacramento, California, involving Natalya is said to be resolved, according to our Dave Meltzer.

As has been the case on recent live events, Natalya was working against SmackDown Women’s Champion Morgan and Ronda Rousey in a three-way for the title. In the clip seen below from Sunday, Morgan hit her finisher on Natalya and got the pin. Natalya then sprung up, pointed at Morgan, said something, and immediately rolled out of the ring.

Natalya later addressed it on Twitter, saying, “I’m breaking character right now, but I actually said THANK YOU. If you must know” before deleting the tweet.

On Monday’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said “there was an issue. It had nothing to do with Liv Morgan at all.” 

While he didn’t have the specifics, he said it was cleared up that night and is “over and done with.” He said that while Natalya was mad, there are no issues between them. Even though Rousey was involved in the match, she wasn’t mentioned during Meltzer’s explanation.
