WWE played into rumors of Brock Lesnar potentially returning to the UFC on Raw last night, with Paul Heyman raising the stakes of the SummerSlam main event by saying that Lesnar would leave WWE if he loses the Universal Championship at the pay-per-view.
Heyman said that he would leave if Lesnar loses as well, claiming that WWE is trying to get Kurt Angle to make Lesnar lose the title. But Heyman concluded his promo by promising that Lesnar would be announced as still being the champion at the end of SummerSlam.
Also on Raw, Lesnar's next challengers faced off in a triple threat match, Big Show took on Big Cass in the main event, and Dean Ambrose still refused to trust Seth Rollins.
