Sheamus teases WWE in-ring comeback on social media

Sheamus WWE

Sheamus fueled the speculation of his WWE in-ring comeback by sharing a series of training photos.

Sidelined with a shoulder injury, the former World Champion Sheamus was recently at the WWE Performance Center, training and working out in the ring.

He shared a carousel of photos from his training session on social media with the caption, “A fun day.” Sheamus was seen training with WWE NXT wrestlers Myles Borne, Hank Walker, and Tank Ledger. He also posted an aftermath image of the session with welts on his back.

The 48-year-old was last seen wrestling on the November 17, 2025, episode of WWE RAW, where he teamed up with Rey Mysterio and John Cena to defeat The Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor & JD McDonagh). He was also scheduled to be a part of John Cena’s retirement Last Time is Now tournament. However, he was ruled out of it due to the shoulder injury. Shortly after, he underwent surgery in December.

Despite the tease on social media, there are currently no confirmed updates on Sheamus’ in-ring comeback.
