Shield ‘farewell address’ to kick off WWE Raw

After their win at Fastlane, The Shield will be taking part in the opening segment of tonight’s Raw.

WWE has announced that a “farewell address” from The Shield will kick off tonight’s show. Their match at Fastlane was hyped as a one-time only reunion, with WWE bringing up that Dean Ambrose won’t be renewing his contract when it expires in April.

Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins & Ambrose defeated Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre & Bobby Lashley in the main event of Fastlane. It was Reigns’ first match since announcing that his leukemia is in remission. He pinned Corbin after Corbin was given a triple powerbomb.

Rollins will challenge for Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship at WrestleMania 35.

Finn Balor defending his Intercontinental title against Lashley has been announced for tonight’s Raw, which is taking place at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There will also be a face-to-face segment with Triple H and Batista.
