With 3/16 falling on a Monday this year, Steve Austin is set to make his return to WWE television.
Austin posted a tweet today announcing that he'll be on the March 16 episode of Raw in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: "AUSTIN 3:16 SAYS I WILL BE LIVE ON MONDAY NIGHT RAW on 3/16!! OH HELL YEAH!!! #316DAY"
WWE.com wrote about his appearance: "The Texas Rattlesnake has not yet indicated what he’ll be doing in his return, though presumably, Stunners will be in store, mudholes will be stomped, and Hells will be Yeah’d. Prepare accordingly and catch the special #316Day edition of Raw on USA Network at 8/7 C on March 16."
The WWE Network will also stream a marathon of Austin programming on March 16. It will include a new episode of Austin's Broken Skull Sessions interview series with Bret Hart appearing as the guest.
Plus, March 16 will feature "the release of exclusive Austin 3:16 merchandise available on WWE Shop.com, a special Topps Austin 3:16 digital card set, and custom content across WWE’s global and social media platforms celebrating Austin’s legendary career."
This will be the first time Austin has appeared on Raw since September 9. That episode was Raw's return to Madison Square Garden.
