NFL legend, commentator and growing businessman Tom Brady is interested into getting into the ring with WWE with only one barrier: WWE president Nick Khan.

The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback appeared on Cody Rhodes’ podcast as part of Fanatics Fest on Thursday when the subject came up about Brady doing something with WWE which he has teased for month.

“I need to get an invite. I’ve been waiting for Nick Khan to come up with some storyline for me to get in the mix,” Brady said. “I’m retired from football. I have an opportunity to go out there and still showcase I’m a little bit of an athlete.”

He noted that longtime teammate Rob Gronkowksi has got into the ring as has Logan Paul of which Brady has built a bit of a worked rivalry with as part of the Saudi-backed flag football league both are involved in.

“I think I could get in there for at least one match, right? C’mon Nick. Make it happen,” he joked.

Less than a month shy of 49, Brady was reportedly negotiating with WWE prior to this past April’s WrestleMania 42 which was held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Brady is a minority owner of the NFL’s Raiders that play in the same venue. WWE merchandise featuring Brady was reportedly being worked on as well.
