Top WWE Draft names decided, NXT expected to be involved

The key talent that will be moving or staying with either Raw or SmackDown in this week’s WWE Draft have been decided according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

Meltzer said nothing else has been decided. He also said that both USA Network and Fox know a few things about those key names as well.

Meltzer said that as of now, there will be talents drafted from NXT to both brands with the idea of freshening up the roster. As has been the case in the past, however, NXT will not be drafting any wrestlers of their own.

He noted, as a source told him, everything could change tomorrow.

The draft kicks off this Friday on SmackDown from Baltimore’s Royal Farms Arena and concludes on Monday’s Raw from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

This will be the third straight year for this format of the draft after three prior years of Superstar Shake-ups. 2019 saw both a draft and Shake-up.
