Triple H declines to give update on Bobby Lashley & MVP’s WWE status

Bobby Lashley & MVP

When it comes to the rumors of both Bobby Lashley and MVP heading out of WWE, Paul “Triple H” Levesque doesn’t have any updates to give.

Talking to local media in London after meeting with the mayor about potentially bringing WrestleMania to the city, Levesque was asked if he could give an update on the status of either man.

“No. Just like any sport, any business, we sign talent, talent contract runs out, we release talent. It’s just part of the process, so it’s an ongoing thing,” he said.

Fightful reported last Sunday that Lashley’s contract was set to expire and that his name was removed from the internal roster. On Monday, our Dave Meltzer said both Lashley and MVP were expected to be departing the company “relatively soon” with the possibility of reforming The Hurt Business stable with Shelton Benjamin in another company like AEW if there was interest.

On Wednesday, MVP took to Instagram to seemingly put a bow on his WWE career, saying “What a ride” among other positive comments about his various runs there.
