Two October WWE SmackDowns moving to FS1 due to MLB playoffs

Two October editions of WWE SmackDown on Fox will be moving to FS1 due to the Major League Baseball playoffs.

First reported by PWInsider, the Friday, October 15th and Friday, October 29th episodes will be moving to the network’s all sports channel.

This will not be the first time SmackDown has been moved to FS1 due to October baseball.

According to our Paul Fontaine, the October 25, 2019, show on FS1 brought in 888,000 viewers and a .27 in the 18-49 demo. That was down from their October/November 2019 average of 2.68 million and .88 in the 18-49 demo.

Then on October 23, 2020, SmackDown on FS1 did 881,000 viewers and a .25 in the 18-49 demo which was down from the October/November 2020 average of 2.22 million and .64 in the 18-49 demo.

SmackDown is currently averaging just over two million viewers over the last ten weeks with a .55 in the 18-49 demo.
