Wrestling world reacts to New Day releases
The New Day have confirmed that they have left WWE. And the world of wrestling has confirmed that there’s still plenty of demand for the New Day.
Big E, the third member of the New Day, expressed his admiration for former teammates Kofi Kingston and Austin “Xavier Woods” Creed almost immediately. AEW wrestlers Maxwell Jacob Friedman and Dax Harwood replied soon after. And the feedback hasn’t stopped there.
Here’s a collection of some of the comments left by notable personalities—from WWE, AEW, and elsewhere—on Kingston’s and Creed’s posts. A number of them made comments related to compensation, which seems relevant given the circumstances:
