Change made to WWE x AAA Worlds Collide card
This story has been updated.
Two changes (one Thursday and one Friday) were made to tonight’s WWE x AAA Worlds Collide card in Las Vegas that will see Laredo Kid added to the show.
Initially revealed in WWE.com’s preview of the show, Laredo Kid was set to replace La Parka in an eight-man tag team match, joining Nino Hamburguesa, Octagon Jr. and Mascarita Sagrada against Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, Lince Dorado & Mini Abismo Negro.
Then on Friday, the official preview changed again for the match. This time, Hamburguesa was out and La Parka was back in. Our Dave Meltzer is saying it was a visa issue for Hamburguesa.
An image of the original La Parka was included in the initial graphic for the match much to his surprise. He took to X to say he would not be on the show and preferred to stay in Mexico vs. wrestle for a “large company” in the U.S.
A third version of the character was introduced earlier this year and competed in the Copa Bardahl at August’s Triplemania.
Worlds Collide streams on WWE’s YouTube channel on Friday at 10 p.m. Eastern time.
