WWE is launching the "Month of Mysterio" to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Rey Mysterio's WWE debut.
Monday's edition of WWE Raw from Madison Square Garden will mark 20 years since Mysterio debuted on the July 25, 2002 edition of SmackDown. In addition to holding a celebration for him on Raw, WWE will also be celebrating #MonthofMysterio on social media.
"In addition to celebrating Mysterio’s 20-year milestone this Monday on Raw, WWE will recognize the legendary luchador throughout the #MonthOfMysterio on social media. Be on the lookout for original video features, including a career retrospective edition of WWE Playback, a look at Mysterio’s incredible influence as told by his peers, and an in-depth exploration of some of Mysterio’s most iconic masks," reads WWE.com.
Mysterio is scheduled to team with his son Dominik to face Judgment Day in tag-team action on Monday as well.
WWE also celebrated #CenaMonth in June to commemorate the 20th anniversary of John Cena's WWE debut.
