WWE featuring Danhausen as ‘poster boy’ for next Saturday Night’s Main Event

WWE Danhausen SNME NYC

Danhausen is front and center on the promotional material for WWE’s next Saturday Night’s Main Event special.

One month from today, Saturday Night’s Main Event will emanate from Madison Square Garden, the home of the NBA champion New York Knicks. Danhausen became linked with the team when he supposedly “uncursed” them during their title run — and WWE is now using that fact to promote the July 18 event.

“Join the uncursed,” WWE wrote on an SNME graphic featuring Danhausen. “Don’t miss WWE live.”

The graphic is now the featured image on WWE.com for the SNME show, which is happening during Fanatics Fest weekend. Several current Knicks stars and legends are advertised for the Fanatics Fest convention, and it’s expected that there will be representation from the team at SNME.

“If youuuuuu caaaaaan believe it! ~ Danhausen is the poster boy of @WWE Saturday Nights Main Event at @TheGarden,” Danhausen tweeted while sharing the ticket link.

Danhausen was not in attendance at the Knicks championship parade in New York City today but did make an appearance on The Stephen A. Smith Show this week to discuss the “uncursing.”

Upcoming WWE SNME schedule —

No matches have been announced for the July SNME card yet. The show will stream live on Peacock.

After this, WWE will hold a special Sunday edition of SNME in Atlanta on September 6. Money in the Bank 2026 was originally supposed to happen in New Orleans that night but has been pushed back to October 10.
