WWE files new Roman Reigns-related trademark
WWE has filed for a new trademark related to Roman Reigns.
According to documents publicly available through the United States Patent and Trademark Office, WWE filed to trademark “Tribal Chief” on Friday, July 3, 2026.
The purposes of the filing are listed as being for clothing and merchandise, including:
“IC 025: Clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands; bandanas; championship trophy belts.”
WWE has a separate trademark for “Tribal Chief” that was originally filed on March 24, 2022. The purposes of that trademark are listed as being for entertainment services, namely performances by a professional wrestler:

WWE also has an abandoned trademark on record for “Tribal Chief” that was originally filed on October 11, 2024. That filing was also for clothing-related purposes and is listed as abandoned “because no Statement of Use or Extension Request timely filed after Notice of Allowance was issued.”
