WWE, Mattel announce multi-year extension for toys, accessories

WWE and Mattel announced Thursday that they have signed a multi-year extension of their global toy licensing agreement which means the toy maker will continue to hold exclusive rights on action figures, accessories and kids’ toy title belts.

The two have been partners since 2009 with toys available in more than 50 markets around the world. According to the release, “WWE Action Figures have ranked as the No. 1 action figure property in the U.S. and consistently holds a top ranking.”
