WWE Raw from Italy hits record low in global views

Continuing a post-WrestleMania trend, the June 1 edition of WWE Raw hit a record low in global views on Netflix.

Airing in the afternoon domestically as it emanated from Italy following the prior day’s Clash in Italy PLE, the broadcast did a reported two million global views, 500,000 lower than the May 25 episode that did 2.5 million global views.

Interestingly, the global hours viewed were 6.2 million, up 1.6 million from the prior week despite a similar reported 1:47 runtime. That is good for eighth highest of all time and its highest mark since April 20’s 6.6 million. Part of that was due to the El Grande Americano vs. Original El Grande Americano mask vs. mask match from AAA being added on in an unprecedented move, giving it an initial 3:38 runtime after ads.

The episode was tied for ninth globally for the week and finished in the top ten for nine countries (eighth in the U.S.). It featured the kickoff of the King of the Ring Tournament in addition to being a PLE fallout show.

The leader for the week was the Michael Jackson: The Verdict three-part documentary with 17.8 million global views and 47 million hours viewed.
