WWE SmackDown video highlights: Owens & Zayn attack Shane

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn viciously attacked Shane McMahon in the show-closing angle of last night's SmackDown.

It had been advertised that Shane would be making a WrestleMania announcement on the episode. He revealed that he was taking a "leave of absence" as SmackDown commissioner and that Daniel Bryan would return next week, then announced Owens vs. Zayn for WrestleMania.

That came after Shane prevented both Owens and Zayn from winning the WWE Championship at Fastlane, and they didn't like his announcement. They attacked him, wrapped a steel chair around his head and smashed him into the ring post, and ended it with a double-team powerbomb onto some equipment backstage.

The show also opened with more fallout from Fastlane, with AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura going face-to-face before Rusev interrupted him. Nakamura then made the save for Styles after his match against Rusev. Asuka later appeared on SmackDown for the first time ahead of her facing Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania, and Big E & Jimmy Uso teamed up against The Bludgeon Brothers.
