WWE announces Sunday Night’s Main Event for planned MITB date
Money in the Bank is no longer happening on September 6, but WWE will still be running a big event that night.
It was announced during today’s Raw that a special Sunday edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event will now take place on that September 6 date. The SNME show is being held at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, which previously hosted a Saturday Night’s Main Event special in July 2025 that included Goldberg’s retirement match.
September 6 is the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Until today, WWE had Money in the Bank scheduled for New Orleans on that date. But it was announced that MITB will now happen on Saturday, October 10. The Smoothie King Center in New Orleans is still hosting the PLE.
Tickets for Sunday Night’s Main Event are going on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. Eastern time. In the United States, the show will air live on Peacock as all SNME episodes do.
