Xavier Woods vs. AJ Styles rematch announced for WWE Raw
Ahead of the Raw Tag Team title match at WrestleMania 37, Xavier Woods and AJ Styles are set to face off in singles action.
WWE has announced that Woods vs. Styles will take place on tonight’s WrestleMania 37 go-home episode of Raw. The New Day (Woods & Kofi Kingston) are defending their Raw Tag Team titles against Styles & Omos at WrestleMania 37 night one this Saturday.
Woods vs. Styles is a rematch from last week’s episode of Raw. Woods defeated Styles by disqualification in that match after Omos got involved. After the match, Omos laid out both Kingston and Woods. Omos then put his foot on Woods as Styles counted to three.
The Raw Tag Team title match at WrestleMania 37 will be Omos’ televised WWE in-ring debut.
Tonight’s Raw was taped at the WWE ThunderDome last week. Here’s the updated lineup for the episode:
- Non-title match: WWE Champion Bobby Lashley vs. Cedric Alexander
- Drew McIntyre vs. Baron Corbin
- Non-title match: WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler vs. Raw Women’s Champion Asuka & Rhea Ripley
- Xavier Woods vs. AJ Styles
