B&V&C: Retro Raw and Nitro from 19 years ago this week!
The Bryan & Vinny & Craig Show is back today with tons to talk about in our look back at Nitro from 19 years ago this week.
We aren’t watching Raw, which is the Owen Hart tribute show. Instead, we’ll pay tribute to Owen by watching his 1994 King of the Ring run and his 1994 SummerSlam cage match with Bret Hart.
Nitro is reviewed from May 24, 1999 which includes The New Van Hammer, Scott Norton vs. Ernest Miller for the ten millionth time, David Flair vs. El Dandy, the long story of Eric Bischoff, nobody knowing who is a heel or a face, the opening of the Nitro Bar and Grill, a Cruiserweight battle royal where no one won, the birth of Rap is Crap, the return of the Steiners, and a main event with DDP and Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko.
