Kenny Omega returning to Impact Tuesday, will headline PPVs

It appears that Impact Wrestling isn’t quite done with Kenny Omega just yet.

In this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that the AEW World Champion will be on this Tuesday’s edition of Impact and “will headline, as least, some Impact PPV shows.”

Impact has yet to formally announce the appearance but could on Saturday during their Final Resolution event on Impact Plus.

Omega and his “invisible hand” Impact VP Don Callis appeared on last Tuesday’s show, giving a long interview in which they said this plan had been in motion for quite some time. Omega said he’s a bit of a collector and the two alluded to him perhaps going after some of the Impact championships. The duo then appeared again on Dynamite Wednesday to reiterate many of the same points.

Impact’s next pay-per-view is Hard To Kill on Saturday, January 16th. While the majority of their named events are on their streaming service, they did hold three traditional PPVs this year.
