Rachael Ellering added to Impact Knockouts Knockdown tournament

Rachael Ellering has been added to this Saturday’s Impact Knockouts Knockdown tournament to crown the next challenger for the Knockouts title.

Ellering is a former Knockouts Tag Team Champion but has yet to obtain singles gold in Impact. She joins Mercedes Martinez, Chelsea Green, Renee Michelle, Lady Frost, Tasha Steelz and Jamie Senegal in the eight woman field with one remaining announcement to go.

The tournament bracket for Saturday’s Knockouts Knockdown event on Impact Plus has yet to be revealed.

The event will feature current champion Deonna Purrazzo defending against an opponent to be named, a Monster’s Ball match, and Knockouts Tag Team Champions Decay (Rosemary and Havok) defending against The Influence (Madison Rayne and Tenille Dashwood).

Here’s the card as of now:

  • One night, eight-woman tournament for a Knockouts title shot: Mercedes Martinez, Chelsea Green, Renee Michelle, Lady Frost, Tasha Steelz, Rachael Ellering, Jamie Senegal, TBA
  • Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo vs. TBA
