Rod McMahon, brother of WWE’s Vince McMahon, passes away at 77

Roderick “Rod” McMahon III, the only sibling to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, passed away last Wednesday at the age of 77, according to Dave Meltzer.

The cause of death is unknown. The Long Island, NY, native was a resident of Willis, Texas, at the time of his death.

The eldest McMahon was not part of the wrestling business unlike the 75-year-old Vince Jr., their father, Vince Sr., or their grandfather, Jess. Vince Sr. died of pancreatic cancer in 1984 at 69 years old while Jess suffered a cerebral hemmorrage in 1954 at 72 years old.

McMahon was a member of the U.S. Air Force and met his wife, Jamice, while stationed in Germany. They founded North American Metals Inc. in 1987, a steel, custom forging and special metals distributor in Houston, Texas.

McMahon is survived by he and Vince’s mother, Victoria, his wife Jamice, and their two sons (seen above) in addition to grandchildren, Vince and Linda’s children Stephanie and Shane and their respective families.
