WWE, DraftKings announce deal, kicking off at WrestleMania 37

On Monday, WWE and DraftKings announced a deal in which the latter becomes their first-ever free-to-play gaming partner with their deal kicking off in just a few weeks during WrestleMania 37 weekend.

According to the release, the deal will center around DraftKings' free-to-play player pools and specifically for WWE pay-per-views:

"Pursuant to the agreement with WWE, DraftKings will receive an exclusive license to media assets and in-game branding for WWE pay-per-view events. Additionally, both WWE fans and DraftKings customers will be able to participate in a number of integrated, free-to-play pools contests and products and experience digital promotion and program integration."

The first contest(s) will start during the two nights of WrestleMania on Saturday, April 10th and Sunday, April 11th in Tampa, Florida, and on the Peacock streaming service. No details were given as to what those first contest(s) will be, but it's assumed they will exist in their daily fantasy business and not in their DraftKings Sportsbook or Casino.

No financial terms or length of the deal were disclosed.
