The Vision win World Tag Team titles on WWE Raw after surprise outside help
New WWE World Tag Team Champions have been crowned.
The Vision regained the WWE World Tag Team titles on Monday’s Raw, with Bron Breakker & Austin Theory defeating The Street Profits following outside help. The finish had Logan Paul introduce his brass knuckles, but the plan initally backfired as The Street Profits gained control of the knuckles. Angelo Dawkins went to strike Theory but as the referee was distracted, Maxxine Dupri ran in and gave Dawkins a low blow. Theory then rolled up Dawkins to win the match for his team.
After the match, Dupri ran into the arms of Theory and the two made out, officially establishing themselves as a couple after months of backstage build.
Paul Heyman teases dissension
Backstage, Paul Heyman offered tentative praise, saying that the group winning the Tag Team titles was a good first step. As the group drove away, Dupri’s associates Otis and Akira Tozawa could be seen watching them drive off.
Earlier in the night, Heyman continued the tension within the group, demanding results after losses from both Breakker and Theory in the last few weeks. Heyman also dismissed Theory last week after he told Heyman he had no idea Brock Lesnar would be returning.
