Andrade El Idolo punches ticket to AEW All In: London
Reigning AEW National Champion Andrade El Idolo is on his way to All In: London.
At Wednesday’s Grand Slam Mexico, El Idolo won a three-way over Tommaso Ciampa and Komander to earn the number one spot in the men’s Casino Gauntlet match at Wembley Stadium. It was his first match in Arena Mexico in nearly three years.
Afterward, rival and antagonist MJF made a surprise return, laying out El Idolo and making a plan to wrestle in a qualifier on next week’s Dynamite from Las Vegas to earn the second spot in the Gauntlet bout.
With the win, El Idolo guarantees himself a chance at winning the match and earning a future World title shot.
