Brodie Lee-Orange Cassidy TNT title match set for AEW Dynamite
Next Wednesday’s Dynamite will feature one of the company’s most popular wrestlers getting his first AEW title opportunity.
Mr. Brodie Lee of the Dark Order will look for the second defense of his TNT Championship when he faces Orange Cassidy. Cassidy is riding a four match winning streak into his first opportunity at an AEW title.
The show will also feature a six man tag team match where AEW World Champion Jon Moxley will team with Darby Allin and Will Hobbs against Lance Archer, FTW Champion Brian Cage and Ricky Starks.
Moxley selected Hobbs and Allin after a brawl erupted following an Archer promo Wednesday night. Hobbs, who just signed a contract, jumped in to fend off Cage and Starks while Moxley asked Allin to come down to Jacksonville next week to join them.
Moxley and Archer will face each other in the main event of AEW’s anniversary show on October 14th.
Also announced for the show:
- AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida and NWA Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa vs. Diamante/Ivelisse: After Rosa’s title defense over Ivelisse Wednesday, she was jumped by Diamante when Shida ran in to make the save.
- Chris Jericho will appear for a promo.
