Chris Jericho to appear on AEW Dynamite
Chris Jericho will be on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite in his first appearance on TBS since 1999.
Jericho was recently taken out by 2point0 and Daniel Garcia in a backstage segment and he returned last week on Dynamite to help out Eddie Kingston, Santana and Ortiz as they were attacked by 2point0 and Garcia after a trios loss.
As has been the case in the past, Kingston didn’t take kindly to Jericho’s help as the build to an eventual singles match keeps going. Jericho is doing a promo on tonight’s show in Newark, New Jersey, which will likely put the next moves toward that match in motion.
Here’s the announced lineup for tonight’s TBS debut show as of now:
- AEW World Champion Hangman Page vs. Bryan Danielson II title match
- AEW Tag Team Champions Lucha Brothers vs. Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) title match
- TBS title tournament final: Jade Cargill vs. Ruby Soho
- Malakai Black vs. Brian Pillman Jr.
- MJF vs. TBA
- Chris Jericho appearance
