MJF & Mark Briscoe to choose Forbidden Door teams on next AEW Dynamite

MJF & Mark Briscoe's teams will compete in a twelve-man tag on Dynamite

MJF and Mark Briscoe will choose their Forbidden Door teams on Wednesday.

During Saturday’s Collision, it was announced that MJF and Mark Briscoe will choose their teams for the upcoming 6 vs. 6 steel cage match set for Forbidden Door on June 28 in San Jose. In addition, the two teams will meet in a standard 12-man tag team match in Sugar Land, Texas.

After MJF repeatedly denied Mark Briscoe an opportunity at the AEW World Championship, Mark informed MJF on the last episode of Dynamite that he had a clear path after a talk with Tony Khan: if his team wins their match at Forbidden Door, he gets the title match. MJF didn’t like the idea but with no other alternative, he accepted.

Later, the AEW World Champion was shown offering Don Callis a large sum of money in order for his family’s cooperation. Kevin Knight agreed to be on MJF’s team as long as he gets a title match after Forbidden Door. MJF agreed, seemingly putting Knight in the upcoming match.

Will Ospreay will also meet Swerve Strickland ahead of their Owen Hart Foundation finals match at Forbidden Door. Ospreay officially advanced to the finals last week, defeating Mark Davis.
