Major League Wrestling announced Friday that they are moving the date for their September 11th event in Dallas, Texas, to March 31, 2022, due to rising COVID-19 numbers in the state.

All September tickets will be honored for the new date.

From the release:

“Unfortunately, due to the recent spike in COVID-19 cases and emerging lambda variant in Texas, we have come to the difficult but right decision to reschedule our September event in Texas,” said MLW CEO Court Bauer. “We don’t take postponing an event lightly, however, the health and well being of our fans, talent, staff, crew and the community remains paramount.”

The Fusion TV taping was supposed to feature their War Chamber match.

Outside their recent Battle Riot match, MLW has yet to resume new episodes of Fusion taped in Philadelphia last month. As of now, they are scheduled to return to Philadelphia both in October for Fightland and again in November for Intimidation Games.
