Another name reportedly gone from TNA Wrestling
Sami Callihan is reportedly gone from TNA Wrestling.
According to a report from PWInsider on Wednesday, the “word making the rounds” is that Callihan has departed the company.
Callihan had been working as a backstage producer for TNA since retiring from in-ring competition last summer.
Callihan is the latest in a string of departures from TNA Wrestling.
Longtime member of the promotion’s creative team Tommy Dreamer revealed on Busted Open Radio on Wednesday that he has also left the company. Tessa Blanchard was reportedly granted her release from the company earlier this week.
Earlier this month, former Impact World Champion Steve Maclin was granted his release. Myla Grace and Dani Luna were also granted their releases earlier this year.
There have also been reports that WWE is interested in signing current TNA World Champion Mike Santana when his contract expires next month. Santana is scheduled to defend his title against Nic Nemeth at Slammiversary on June 28.
