Eric Young posts ‘3 things to know’ after his TNA release
While Eric Young is no longer with TNA Wrestling after his release Wednesday, there’s a few things he wants people to know about it — three specifically.
Writing that the “internet is FN WILD!,” Young took to X Wednesday for the first time since the news broke with those three things, confirming that he asked for his release and that TNA granted it.
Young wrote he was never on a handshake deal with TNA and “have had a binding contract the entire time.” He finished by writing, “I will work where I want how I want and for whom I want! My track record, resume, accolades and reputation are proof of that! See you soon!!!!”
The 46-year-old is expected to head back to WWE with a Fightful report noting that Young has long had a good relationship with Triple H and that the door has been open for him to come back to the company.
After being cut by WWE in April 2020, he briefly returned in November 2022 before being granted his release in April 2023 due to his reluctance to work under Vince McMahon once Endeavor came into the picture.
