Tessa Blanchard reacts to Tommy Dreamer, Sami Callihan’s TNA departures

Tessa Blanchard

Tessa Blanchard had good things to say about Tommy Dreamer and Sami Callihan after all three exited TNA Wrestling this week.

News broke on Tuesday that Blanchard is no longer with TNA after being granted her release from the company. The following day, it was revealed that Dreamer and Callihan have also departed their positions. Dreamer’s departure was called a mutual parting of ways, while Callihan was let go in a “workforce reduction.”

“One of the most unique minds in all of wrestling.. nobody can do what he does. Any company would be lucky to have @TheSamiCallihan,” Blanchard tweeted on Wednesday night. “[And] @THETOMMYDREAMER is someone who has always believed in his people. I am so grateful to have shared the ring and worked with him.”

Dreamer was one of the leading voices in TNA creative alongside Delirious (Hunter Johnston), who remains with the company after Dreamer’s exit. TNA has discussed the possibility of adding Brian “Road Dogg” James to the creative team with Delirious.

A former TNA World Champion, Callihan retired from the ring and had been working backstage as a producer before his firing.
