After returning to the company earlier this year following an aborted contract with AEW, Trey Miguel is staying with TNA Wrestling.

Announced on The Battleground Podcast and later confirmed by TNA on their website, Miguel has signed a new deal with the company. Terms were not disclosed.

Miguel hasn’t wrestled since losing the International title to Mustafa Ali at April’s Rebellion as he recovers from a broken patella (kneecap) suffered in that match. TNA stated on their TV that he was expected to be out six-to-eight weeks with no surgery required.

The signing bucks a recent trend of talent leaving including Steve Maclin, Tessa Blanchard, Dani Luna and others.

Along with the other three members of The Rascalz, the 31-year-old signed with AEW after their deals expired at the end of 2025. He was then released a week later after social media posts from 2020 came to light that Miguel had apologized for at the time. It was reported that WBD had a heavy influence in that decision.

After considering leaving the business, Miguel returned to TNA in January 2026. In addition to the International title, he’s also held the Tag Team titles and the X-Division title multiple times.
