John Cena returned to Raw last night to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his WWE debut.

WWE celebrated Cena throughout last night's show, with Cena appearing in front of the fans and thanking them for allowing him to do this for two decades. Vince McMahon also made another appearance on WWE TV amid the Board of Directors' misconduct investigation, briefly introducing Cena last night.

Cena said he didn't know when the fans would see him in the ring again -- but it won't just be for "one more match" when they do.

There were videos throughout the night with WWE legends congratulating Cena. Those included tributes from AEW's Bryan Danielson, Paul Wight, and Chris Jericho.

Cena tweeted this morning: "Overwhelmed with ALL the messages thru this month. Being at #WWERaw last night gave me an opportunity to show you how much YOU mean to me. Thank you @WWE for every chance you’ve taken on me, so I will continue to always give my best for my home, for my family, for US."
