WWE to use ‘Sunday Stunner’ for post-WrestleMania Sunday live events

WWE is continuing to tweak their live events as following April’s WrestleMania 38, Sunday live shows will be branded with “Sunday Stunner.”

As of now, TicketMaster lists Sunday May 1st in Fairfax, Virginia, as the first show to be rebranded while two other Sunday post-Mania shows (Syracuse, New York, and Binghamton, New York) have yet to be changed.

This follows last week’s news that WWE will be using their Saturday Night’s Main Event name for two back-to-back Saturday live events in April in Alabama and Florida. It’s unknown whether that branding will be put into place for future Saturday shows as well.

WWE hasn’t formally announced the change and hasn’t responded to an inquiry for further information.

The company has reduced live events post-pandemic, running just on Saturdays and Sundays outside Monday Raw and Friday SmackDown shows. They ran 101 total shows in 2021 after returning to touring in July.
